Private Transfer, NAIA Airport to Hotel in Manila. After check in proceed to Half Day Manila City Tour. Tour Description: Commence the tour from the financial district of Makati including Fort Bonifacio and the American Cemetery, then move on to the city of Manila, the country’s capital. Arrive at Rizal Park, named in honor of the country’s national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. After a brief picture stop, proceed to the historic Walled City of Intramuros. Travel through the cobbled streets towards San Agustin Church, the country’s oldest stone church and view its wide collection of ecclesiastical icons, vestments and other religious articles. Afterwards visit Casa Manila, a reproduction of 19th century house equipped with Oriental and European decor, as well as Philippine antique furniture. Continue on to Fort Santiago, Manila’s main line of defense against invaders from the sea. From the Fort, drive to Quiapo, Manila’s central district, often referred to as the heart of Manila with its market, pilgrimage church of the Black Nazarene, jeepney terminals and bazaars. Then proceed to the Chinese Cemetery, where the mausoleums are as big and as elaborate as houses and where fusions of Buddhist and Christian religions are very much in evidence. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. A two-hour drive / 110 kms south of Manila is the rustic town of Pagsanjan; stunningly beautiful with thrilling adventure. "Shoot the rapids" on dugout canoes and experience nature's wonders. Be prepared to board a native Banca (canoe) skilfully driven by two boatmen and maneuvered upstream through rocks and boulders amidst steep gorges and lush tropical vegetation. Your destination is - the magnificent Pagsanjan Falls. Take a swim or board a bamboo raft through the falls into a cave right behind its veil of water. The highlight of the program is the upriver ride on board canoe boats to the main falls followed by the downriver ride that passes through 14 rapids, the most breath-taking part of the tour. Enjoy Local Lunch at Restaurant. Later you will be dropped back at the Hotel. Overnight in Hotel.
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. The city of Tagaytay is located on a ridge, 2250 feet above sea level. It is about 2 hours leisurely drive south of Manila passing small towns, orchards, fruit stalls and coconut plantations. Admire the magnificent views offered of Taal Volcano, a small volcano whose crater houses another volcano, and the quiet surroundings of Taal Lake. The majestic view can be enjoyed from a vantage point along the ridge. After enjoying a native refreshment, visit the world's famous Bamboo Organ of Las Pinas Church and the Jeepney Factory. After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. Ville Escudero was founded in 1872 by Don Placido Escudero. It was originally a sugar cane plantation that was later converted to a coconut farm. It stretches over 800 hectares (2,000 acres) of working coconut plantation. The hacienda is located 10kms (6.2 mi) south of the city of San Pablo in the Laguna Province. The private museum displays an absorbing collection of historic, religious and cultural artefacts spanning pre-Spanish times to World War II years. The site is also famous for having the first working hydroelectric plant in the Philippines to supply the desiccated coconut factory and the plantation house. A sightseeing tour aboard a cart driven by a carabao (water buffalo) reveals the growing, harvesting and processing stages of coconut cultivation and takes riders to manmade waterfalls. Villa Escudero is truly a native experience. Back to Hotel after the tour
