When you arrive at Noi Bai International airport in Hanoi, you'll be smilingly met and transferred to your downtown hotel. Later, enjoy an hour-long cyclo ride winding through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter - a must for any visitor to Hanoi! Dinner at local Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, a 2-hour road trip through picturesque countryside and agricultural land will take you to Bai Dinh Pagoda. On arrival, visit the Buddha Prayer place in Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters height, 100 tons weight. Have lunch at local restaurant with some local special dishes such as goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel. Afternoon transfer to the pier for a 2.5-3-hour sampan ride to explore the picturesque waterways in Trang An ecological site. The area features more than 30 valleys and 50 cross-water caves and is home to 600 species of plants and over 200 types of animals. You will venture through a network of limestone caves in the quiet, fresh air, with only the sound of birds and the oars stirring the clear water and surrounded by magnificent, forested mountains. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner at local Indian restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
At 08.30 AM, you'll be picked up and transferred to Tuan Chau Marina in Halong City. 12:30 Receptionists welcome guests at the International Tuan Chau harbour. 12:45 Captain welcomes guests to Syrena cruises by tender. Check in cruise, whilst enjoy a welcome drink, safety briefing and check in cabin. 13:00 Leaving International Tuan Chau harbour, discover the Halong Bay - natural wonders of the world. Have lunch with special foods while cruising through famous sights Ba Hang fishing village, Đỉnh Hương island, Chó Đá islet, Gà Chọi islet... 14:30 Cruises stops at Bồ Nâu cave, the core area of the world natural heritage. Transfer by tender to Surprise cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. 15:45 Leaving Surprise cave, transfer by tender to the Titov island was named by Uncle Ho, after Gherman Stepanovich Titov - the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962 Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climb the steps of the Rock to the top of the island. On the top of the mountain, you can see corner of magical Halong Bay ... 16:45 Back to the cruise. Relax and enjoy sunset on the sun deck. 06:30 Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck in 30 minutes whilst cruising to Luồn cave. 07:00 Enjoy light breakfast in the restaurant (coffee, tea, fresh milk, water, pastries, bread, egg, fresh fruit, cereals will be served in the dining room). 08:00 After breakfast, take a guided tour to visit Luồn cave - .one of the cave open to the form beautiful about endemic the vegetation of the Halong Bay. Visit Luồn cave by a traditionally woven (bamboo) boat rowed by a local boatman. 08:30 Then come back to Syrena cruise, relax and check out of cabin. Please put your luggage outside the door. Transfer straight to Noi Bai airport in Hanoi for an afternoon flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, pick up and transfer to your hotel in the downtown. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, you will drive to Cu Chi Tunnels where you will visit the amazing network of underground tunnels was used during the Vietnam War by the Viet Cong. This huge construction was a habitation for villagers in the war time. With 3 levels of depth, it was never discovered by the US during the Vietnam War despite its proximity to Saigon. Visit the fighting tunnel system with your local guide. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for a guided city tour, starting with the Reunification Palace; the former South Vietnam Presidential Palace; the Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, as you get your camera working overtime peeking into the past of Vietnam's biggest, most energetically progressive city. You will also visit Ben Thanh Market with time for shopping. Dinner at local Indian restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
At 08.00 AM, you'll head south to My Tho pier to board a boat on the Mekong River for a sight-seeing of the four islands: Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, Phoenix and Rach Mieu bridge. Heading to Thoi Son (Unicorn Island, the biggest island in this area which is about 1.200 square hectare and about 11 km long) to see bee hives and enjoy honey tea at local house. Continuing to An Hoa Island, Ben Tre province to visit a coconut candy workshop. Taking horse-carriage ride (or electric cart) along the village road. Resting at a farm-house to enjoy some fresh tropical fruits and listen to some traditional music performed by local people. Rowing small boat (sampan) along a beautiful natural canal and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the countryside. Returning to My Tho city and enjoy fresh coconut on the boat. Return to My Tho Pier where your private vehicle will take you back to Ho Chi Minh City with stop en-route to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of an oldest in Southern Vietnam. The pagoda is also known as the largest pagoda and the most special architecture in Mekong Delta. Its architecture was influenced by Vietnamese culture and Khmer’s culture as well as European’s architecture. Dinner at local Indian restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Your time will be your own until being picked up to head to Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat Airport for your onward journey or departure flight home.
